I have been working with my Miel for quite a few years now and have been watching at close hand her career blossoming. She is one of the loveliest people in the business and we have become great friends during these past years.. I documented the making of her first album by doing all of the stills photography for the project. Not only was it a pleasure, but a real privilege. Right now, Miel is supporting Wet Wet Wet here in the UK on some of their dates. We started the tour in Cambridge followed by Birmingham. Miel has just released her second amazing album, ‘SURRENDER TO THE FEELING’. It was produced by the genius that is, Andy Wright. Go and buy a copy of it, it’s wonderful. I must say, it was lovely seeing the audience clap and dance along with Miel and her amazing band. It’s quite a thing considering the audience went along to see Wet Wet Wet and they may not know of Miel yet or heard her music before. This made it all the more thrilling me, not to mention Miel, her band the the team. Seeing & hearing Miel performing her new songs and deservedly receiving such a warm enthusiastic response from the crowd was wonderful. She has such a superb band and team. They are all real top draw musicians, as well as the technical team behind all of that Oliver Heyward and of course, the person who for me, seems to be everywhere doing everything, Lewis Chapman. Not forgetting to mention my friend and her record producer/manager, Andy Wright.
